This workshop takes Foundations 1 students who are already familiar with camera handling into the world of “seeing”. It will explore the tools that help us to see the world through different angles and perspectives and effectively capture the concepts envisioned. It opens a window into the varied fields of photography and encourages students to find their “personal projects”.

  • White Balance (digital) / Colour Filters (analogue)
  • The Temperature of Light (Natural & Artificial Colour Cast) • Picture Styles (Colour, Black and White, Sepia etc…)

  • Elements of Design (Colours, Lines, Shapes and Textures) • Lenses and Perspective (the right choice of focal length) • Travel Photography
