This workshop is an introduction to photography as a practice focusing on capture and camera functions. It covers the settings on 35mm analog cameras that have Manual Exposure Mode including Lenses.
- Introduction to Analog Capture
- Getting to know your Camera (How light is captured & transformed into images) • Analog camera formats
- Films ( B&W, colour, chrome)
- Lenses (Focal Lengths, Macro, Prime & Zoom Lenses)
- Manual Focus
- Light Meter
- Manual Exposure (ISO, Shutter Speeds, F/Stops)
- Depth of Field (Shallow, Deep, Hyper Focal Distance)
- Motion (Freezing, Blurring & Panning)
- Composition and Elements of Design
- Photojournalism in the Analog Era
